SALAY, Michael Walter– of Davison, age 55, passed away at his residence on Thursday March 7, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM on Sunday, and 10-11 AM on Monday.
Michael was born in Flint, MI on November 8, 1963, son of Paul Salay and the late Lorine (Maeder) Salay. He was an avid Michigan fan, and enjoyed bowling and golfing. Michael was part owner and operator of Salay’s Meats and until his illness, worked for Hart Medical.
Michael is survived by his father, Paul E. Salay; brother, Paul M. Salay; sister, Linda (Daniel) McCaughna; niece and nephew, Ryan (fiancé, Chelsea Schultz), Kaitlyn; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorine M. Salay on March 9, 2012.
