SALEM, Joyce Elaine - Age 68, of Clio, died June 30, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday July 9 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 10AM until the time of service. Joyce was born August 10, 1950 the daughter of Alvin Bruce, a veteran of WWII, and his loving wife, Otheda Joyce (Wilder) Fifield. She married Said Michel Salem of Nazareth on June 12, 1971 in a beautiful ceremony held in Davison, Michigan. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, on July 25, 2012. During their marriage they experienced living abroad in Marbella, Spain and shared wonderful trips connecting with family and friends. Joyce was a gifted artist and talented crafts woman. She enjoyed sewing baby and doll clothes for her children and grandchildren. Among many hobbies, she enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and watching baseball. Joyce was always there for her children and grandchildren, she had the kindest heart and was truly considered a mom to many. She was survived by her children: Joyce (Carey) Lee of Grand Blanc, Gena (Lanny) Macko of Clio, Amanda (Scott) Binder of South Lyon; grandchildren: Cody, Zachary, Cameron, Bradley, Gina, Caden, Jean-Luc, Alexandra, Raphael John (RJ), Liam; great-granddaughter: Arabella; brother: Richard (Peggy) Fifield of Burton; sister-in-laws: Soad Nakhly of Nazareth; Jamoul Mabjish of Nazareth, Laurice AbuNassar of Nazareth; brother-in-laws: Farid Salem of Flint Township, Hani Salem of Marbella, Suheil Salem of Las Vegas,Ibrahim Salem of Nazareth and many nieces and nephews.
