Linda Louise Tyrrell, 80, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, passed away May 25, 2019, in the comforts of her home and with her family and dog at her bedside. Linda was born in Lapeer on November 4, 1938. She graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 1956 . She worked at Vincent's Drugstore and Finsterwald's Mens Clothing Store in downtown Lapeer for many years and was also a Certified Nurses Aide at Suncrest for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spent many summers camping in East Tawas.
Linda is survived by her son Hank (Lucinda) Tyrrell of Lapeer; daughter GayLynn Crampton of Lapeer; grandchildren Melinda (Eric) Patrick, Krystal Milton, Thomas (Shannon) Tyrrell, Carl Wise, Amber Wise, David (Sandra) Tyrrell; great-grandchildren Zoe, Kayleigh, Lucas, Paige, Christena, Reegan, Jerae, Joelle, Kiana, Anthony, Kadence, Dakota, Jazyah, Jackson and Emma; great-great-grandchild KiMar; and her best friend Bev Toole.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Gail Lee Tyrrell on March 30, 2015; beloved baby daughter Leigh Ann Tyrrell and her parents.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 29th from 1-8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Lynch & Sons. Pastor Dan Burger will be officiating. Linda will be laid to rest with her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Suncrest Auxiliary.
