GLAZAR, Kathleen R. (Meints) - Of Burton, age 86, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Kathleen was born in Flint on August 4, 1934, the daughter of the late Harry and Bernice (Smoke) Meints. On June 19, 1954, she married John Glazar at Bethany United Presbyterian Church. Kathleen was employed at JC Penny on and off for 30 years. She attended St. Leo's and Holy Redeemer Church. Kathleen enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends and family. She loved gardening and playing the organ. Kathleen was a devoted pet caretaker for her dog, Emma. Above all else, Kathleen loved her family.
Surviving are nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews;
adopted daughter, Linda Yonan Schultz and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Glazar; daughter, Linda; brothers, Harry, Peter, Donald, Norman and Harold Meints; sister, Dorothy Brandon and 4 nephews.
