BENNETT, William D. - Of Flint, age 72, died Saturday, September 13, 2014.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, September 18, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Flint on April 22, 1942, the son of the late Ralph and Lucy (McDowell) Bennett. William retired from General Motors-Buick after more than 35 years of service.
Surviving are brother, Jerry and wife Ann Bennett;
sister, Priscilla Shaw;
several nieces and nephews;
special friend, Rich Fowler and his kids, Tyeler and Skyeler.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Gloria Wilcox, Arlene Bennett and Barb Goss.
