Antonio “Tony” J. Zamora
Age 57 of Owosso passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Michael O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at Nelson-House Funeral Home in Owosso from 2:00 to 8:00pm with a Rosary prayed at 7:00pm.
Antonio was born on June 12, 1959 to Refugio and Eulalia (Reyna) Zamora in Owosso. He graduated from Owosso High School.
Tony had the best laugh, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, biking, cooking, golf, and listening to music. He was also an avid Detroit fan; he loved cheering on the Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and Red Wings.
Tony is survived by his parents, Refugio and Eulalia; his brothers and sisters, Maria Cristina (David) Marsden, Victoria (Stephen) Madejek, Rodolfo (Patty) Zamora, Jaime Zamora, and Katrina Zamora (Douglas Sink); his 8 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
