Ralph C. Freeburg age 92 of Fenton, passed away on September 6, 2017 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Lois (nee: Goodrich) for over 63 years. Loving father of Dan (Sue) Freeburg, Laura (Pete) Kumnik and Christina (Brad) Francis. Dear Papa of Jeramie Freeburg (Angie Bradley), Amanda (Steve) Johns, Jacob (Nicole) Hagan, Emily Hagan (Mark Compeau) and Jessica Francis. Great Papa of 14. Brother of Max Freeburg. Ralph is predeceased by his parents; Robert & Roseann, his siblings and grandson; Joshua Francis. Ralph also leaves many nieces, nephews & loving friends. Ralph served our Country in the Army during WWII, earning many honorable metals. After the war he went to work at Flint Tent & Awning for almost a decade. He then went on to Dean’s Dairy for 10 years and claimed the title of “Award Winning Cottage Cheese Maker”. With an already accomplished career Ralph was hired into General Motors, working at Fisher Body and eventually retiring in the Buick City division. Ralph was a hard working family man who enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, western movies and had a passion for history. He was also a very faithful Christian and was involved in church functions for many years. He will be greatly missed. Ralph’s funeral services will take place on Tuesday September 12, 11am at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Friends may visit on Monday 4:30-8pm, and Tuesday 10 am until the time of service. Interment & Veteran’s honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly immediately following.
