EARLY, Donald - Of Flint, age 74, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Jerry Beach officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 1-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Piletown, Missouri on November 3, 1940, the son of the late William and Sarah (Howard) Early. He married Doris Beardsley on February 14, 1970. Donald retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He was a member of Mayfair Bible Church and the Goodrich Country Club. Donald also belonged to Grand Blanc Lodge #571 F.&A.M. He loved to golf, travel and spend time with his children and grand-children.
Surviving are wife, Doris;
daughters, Tammy Compton and Shelly (Dan) Brasseur;
sons; Jeff Nordberg and Greg Nordberg;
grandchildren, Eric Compton, Brandy Compton, Jacob Brasseur and Joshua Brasseur;
several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
and sisters, Ann (Paul) Kachudas and Peggy Early.
He was preceded in death by grandchild, Tiffany Compton and brothers, William and Kenneth Early.
