STEINER, Ruth Ilene - Age 81, of Linden, died May 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Argentine Church of the Nazarene, 16248 S. Seymour Rd., Linden. Pastors Gerald Carnes and Robert Lindsay will officiate. Burial will follow in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to Argentine Church of the Nazarene or Gideons International. Ruth was born September 1, 1935 in Grand Blanc, the daughter of Elmer and Leslie (Miller) Carnes. She was married to Raymond William Steiner on September 26, 1953; he preceded her in death on September 22, 2002. Ruth was a member of Argentine Church of the Nazarene and Loose Senior Center Writing Group. She is survived by her children, Mary (Robert) Ramsey, Gregory (Nancy) Steiner, Michael (Belinda) Steiner; five grandchildren, Michelle, Michael (Heather), Jennifer, Andrea, Amy (Steve); eight great-grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, Jacob, Catelyn, Colton, Ana, Zoe, Noah-Andrew; sisters, Ellen Morris, Maxine (Don) Miller; brother, Pastor Gerald (Chris) Carnes; several nieces, nephews and her four-legged companions, Baby and Bentley.
