ST JOHN, Lee – of Davison, age 58, passed away October 15, 2013 at his residence. The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 PM Friday, October 18, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will follow the visitation, with a private burial at a later date in Davison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison Public Library.
Lee was born in Flint, MI on September 12, 1955, son of Clare D. and Mary Ann (Horton) St John. He retired from Hall Steel Company and Lee became the primary caregiver for his parents. Lee was an unique individual. He was not afraid to speak his mind on topics from politics to his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. The tough exterior would just melt away when little kids were around. His great-nephew, Ethan was a prime example of this. All Ethan had to say was “hello Unkee” and the big tough man became a soft hearted kid himself.
Lee is survived by his parents; sisters, Nancy (Skip) Davis and Jamie (Luther) Greer; nieces, Stephanie (Josh) Lawrence, Jessica Davis and Darcy Greer; nephew, Bryan (Leslie) Greer; great-nephews, Brett, Gavin, Landon and Ethan.
