Robin Gamble was born May 29, 1962 in Flint, MI to proud parents Prezel & Zella Gamble, Sr. Robin was educated in the Flint Public Schools, graduating from Flint Southwestern High School in 1980 and continued her education at Mott Community College. Robin was employed at Meijers for many years. She was a Spiritual Care volunteer and Genesys Regional Medical Center and was later hired at Genesys. Her hobbies included quilting and playing the violin. Robin affectionately was known to many of us as Susie, was raised in a Godly home. Robin was a member of Harris Temple Church Of God In Christ (now known as Harris Memorial Church Of God In Christ) since birth. As a teenager Robin was saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late founder Superintendent T. R. Harris. Robin was very active in church serving in the Sunshine Band, Purity Class, Young Women's Christian Council, Youth Ensemble, and Mass Choir. Under the leadership of the late Bishop Walter E. Bogan, Sr., Robin continued serving in the Mass Choir, Nurses Guild and as a Youth Sunday School Teacher. Robin loved the Lord and loved serving Him with all her heart. You could always find Robin playing her tambourine in service. Robin later joined Living Word Ministry where she was a faithful member. She was active in the New Members Class, Wednesday Bight Bible Study, Prayer Service, Summer Enrichment Program and Voices of the Word Choir. Robin participated with the Women's Ministry Angel Tree and where her heart could serve. Robin leaves in God's care loving mother Mother Zella Gamble, 3 loving sisters Alice (Edward) Bogan, Julia Gamble all of Flint, and Doris Genetta Robinson of Dallas, TX; 5 loving brothers Pre-Zel (Cynthia) Gamble, Jr., Chester (Rhonda) Gamble, her twin Robert (Denise) Gamble, Deveric Shawn (Trina) Carswell and Kairi (Saran) Marks all of Flint, aunts Geneva Roberts of Flint, Callie Gaither of Stuttgart, AR, Johnella of Vallejo, CA, uncles James Gamble of Jackson, MS, Earl Watson, Sr of North Little Rock, AR and Doyle Jenkins of San Diego,CA, Goddaughter Iticka Dukes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Robin was preceded in death by her father Deacon Prezel Gamble,Sr., grandparents Preston & Johnnie Gamble and Joe & Julia Smith, aunts Ethel Sewell, Beatrice Jenkins, Doris Watson and Margaret Gamble, uncles Edward Marks, William Sewell, John Roberts and Thomas Marks. Special love for our sister Doris Genetta Robinson for sacrificing her time and energy, and for traveling from Texas for months on end to take care of Robin.
