CARTER, Evelyn - Of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Gross Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Rob Prince officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to ALS.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born in Flint, Michigan on January 13, 1929, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Arthusa (Cashdollar) Nuckles. On August 7, 1948, she married William Carter and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2012. Evelyn was a long-time member of Central Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are children, William Jr. (Rosemarie), Jeannette (Tom) Benedict, Karen (Jim) Grof, Sharen (Dan) Weber and Mary (Tom) Smith;
11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren;
Brother-in-law, Frank (Delores) Carter, sister-in-law, Margaret Craton, and brother-in-law, Bob (Cheri) Carter.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kelly Carter.
