BALL, Betty J. – of Montrose, age 83, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial to follow in Montrose Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM and on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Betty was born on May 6, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Thomas and Evelyn (Ormsbee) Bodfield. She attended Beecher Schools. Betty worked as a traveling hospice aid for many years. She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Flushing. Betty enjoyed crocheting, gardening, traveling, cooking, and baking. She especially loved to go camping with her family up north.
Surviving are: Children: Jim (Nancy) Jersey, Glenn (Dlorah) Jersey, and Dawn Borowiak; 9 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, and longtime special friend James Jersey.
