Robin Lynn Turton, age 62, left her earthly body in Clio with her family and was ushered into the presence of Jesus on January 3, 2019. Honoring Robin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Robin was born in Flint, Michigan on April 10, 1956, to David Lee and Gaye Lorene (Gillette) Turton. She graduated from Chesaning High School in 1974 and worked at Michigan National Bank until 1984. The Lord miraculously spared her from a debilitating cardiac arrest in 1984 and allowed her 34 more years to love and serve her family, friends, and church. Her greatest joy was to take care of others, and she did it every chance she had.
She is survived by her parents, David and Gaye; Daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Henderson of Fairborn, Ohio; 3 grandchildren who were her whole world: Alivia Jewel, Benjamin Samuel, and Avonlea Joy. She was the proud big sister to Christopher of Punta Gorda, Florida, Tracey (Carl) of Manasota Key, Florida, Timothy (Sarah) of Huntington Woods, Michigan, and Matthew (Bill) of Bradenton, Florida. She also leaves 7 nieces and nephews and their spouses: Nicole (Michael), Alex (Stephanie), Chelsea, Michelle (Aaron), Christine (Drew), Carley, Evelyn; 3 great-nieces and nephews: Maya, Sophia, Henry; Aunts and Uncles: Ron and Diane, Bill and Jackie, Clara and Greg; Cousins: Charlotte, Dana (Curtis), Michael (Kathy), Christopher, Rodney (Kelli), Matt (Emily), Sarah, Kate; The Freeman family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Aunts, Patricia Conant and Elaine Krawzak; Uncle, Gregory Krawzak.
Robin was a gift from the Lord...a gift that He shared with us for years longer than the doctors said we should have had her. She loved well and we rejoice that she is now whole and healed. She would want us all to “Shine for Jesus” until we meet again in eternity.
