COON, Judith Kay – Of Flint Township, age 75, died Monday, March 2, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Scripture Service will be held 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
Judith was born in Flint, Michigan on May 20, 1944, daughter of the late Arnold and Helen (Swyrtek) Eisenacher. On January 3, 1963, she married Howard Coon in Flint and he preceded her in death in 2011.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Judith loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Helen Sutter, Marcey (Steven) Cummings and
Karen (Gavin) Humphrey;
grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Jason Sutter, Emily, Nathan (Miranda), and Amanda Cummings, Brian, Daniel and Kurtis Humphrey;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Sutter, brother, James Eisenacher and sister-in-law, Arlene Dale.
