MURANY, Cathy C. (Gordon) – of Clio, age 64, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Funeral services will be held 3PM Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Tony Chick officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 3PM.
Cathy was born February 14, 1949 to James and Colleen (Culhane) Gordon. She graduated from Clio High School in 1967. She married Robert Murany on June 13, 1969. She lived in Clio most of her life. She had three children who were the most important thing to her. Cathy was a homemaker who loved to do crafts, bake and spend time with her grandchildren.
Cathy is survived by: mother, Colleen Gordon; children, Bobby (Viola) Murany, Brandon Murany, Colleen Murany (Dave Thompson); 2 Grandchildren, Carsyn and Tori; siblings, Jim Gordon, Connie (Ron) Chandler, Jon (Missy) Gordon; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her niece, Rachelle Jones for staying with her and holding her hand during her passing. Cathy was preceded in death by: husband, Robert Murany; father, James Gordon; sister, Gail Brent; best friend, April Brewer.
