TERRY, John L. - of Grand Blanc, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 20, 2019, with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services will be held.
John was born August 18, 1931 in Grubbs, Arkansas to the late Thad and Lois (Bost) Terry. He married Norma Smith in 1951. Mr. Terry retired from GM Truck & Bus in 1980 with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #598. John enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling and watching sports - especially the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers.
Surviving are: Loving wife of 68 years, Norma Terry; Grandsons: Jason (Nichole) Terry, and Ryan Terry (Nadia); Great grandchildren: Savannah and Brock Terry; Sister, Voncil Winemiller.
