LINDSLEY, Ortal U. –Of Flushing, age 83, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Ortal was born in West Allis, Wisconsin on April 10, 1931,
the son of Oliver and Ulah (Payne) Lindsley.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
On September 24, 1955 he married Wilma Storey in Flint.
He enjoyed woodworking, painting and drawing.
Mr. Lindsley retired from G.M.
Surviving are wife, Wilma;
children, Karen and husband Joe Barker of Lewisburg, Tennessee,
Elaine and husband Steve Taylor of Flint;
7 grandchildren;
5 great-grandchildren;
sister, Oretta and husband Robert Bickell of Kalamazoo;
sisters-in-law, Leta Phillips and Tonie Storey, both of Flushing;
many nieces, nephews and
a host of special friends.
