STADLER, Margaret “Peggy” – of Clio, age 75, died Saturday, September 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-9PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services at 3 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Margaret was born August 28, 1937 in Flint to the late Marvin and Alma (Seil) Tidball. She lived in Clio most of her life. She served the WACs in the mid 1950’s. Margaret married Kenneth Stadler on November 3, 1979. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
Surviving are: husband, Kenneth; 4 children, James (Becky) Gilbert of Clio, Daniel (Debbie) Gilbert of TN, Tammy Gilbert of AZ, Becky Conrad (companion Ron Smith) of Montrose; 2 step children, Mark (Kathy) Stadler of CA, Becky Monti of CA; 14 grandchildren, Amy (Benito) Maya, Greg (Kari) Gilbert, Ashley (James) Gilbert-Clymer, Ryan Conrad, Justin Conrad, Karli Conrad, J.D. Gilbert, C.J. Gilbert, Dugan Gilbert, Sophie Monti, David Stadler, Matthew Stadler, Brandi Stevens and Brittany Stevens; 9 great grandchildren; brother, James (Marilyn) Tidball of Clio; sisters, Ruth Myers of Flushing, Karen Black of Mt. Morris; special friend, Dee Fleming; many nieces and nephews. A grandson, Tyler, also preceded her in death.
