Cory Franklin Simkins passed away Saturday October 26, 2019 in Fort Wayne Indiana. Cremation has taken place and service for Cory will be held at a later date.
Cory was born July 20, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Thomas G. Simkins. After graduation from Swartz Creek High School he served three years in the United States Army. He lived in Swartz Creek most of his life before moving his family to Fort Wayne, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Olivia, son Wyatt, father Thomas, who he lovingly called "Pap"; step mother Glenda; brother Jeff and Carrie Pierson; stepbrother Kevin Curtis, step sister Shelley Curtis and several aunts; uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Kevin On July, 2003.
