Raffee, Janet Amelia of Flushing, age 74, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, http://www.geneseehumane.org.
Janet was born in Flint, Michigan on May 29, 1950, the daughter of John and Julianna Olga (Niedzilski) Carol. Janet received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and later her master’s degree from U of M. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at McLaren-Flint and retired from Health Plus. Janet loved movies and fashion. She enjoyed spending her summers on Crystal Lake and doing outdoor activities. Janet will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter Naseem and her husband Steven Keating, of Clarkston, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her son, Khalil; and her siblings, John, Jimmy, and Julie.
