Betty V. Huston, age 91 passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Owosso, Michigan surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 4-8pm at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Reigle Funeral Home. Interment at West Vienna Cemetery. Betty was born on December 24, 1927 to the late Peter and Berneda Elenbaas in Cadillac, Michigan. Betty married the love of her life Loren Huston on May 1, 1946 in Cadillac, Michigan. She worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital as a LPN for 20 years. Betty loved crafts, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She was an excellent baker, cook, and loved canning goods. She was always looking for new recipes to try, especially something deliciously sweet. But most of all, she enjoyed every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty was a wonderful, loving, hardworking woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Ron and wife Pat Huston of Clio, Robert Huston of Burton, Katherine Hosmer of New Jersey; grandchildren: Jeff Huston, Lisa, Amy Moore, Sara Huston, Brooke Williams; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters: Dorothy Oliver and Sharon Case. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Huston. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hospice House of Owosso, 2005 Copas Road, Owosso, Michigan.
