MILLER, Shirley L. – Of Burton, age 79, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Peggy Norton officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 11 a.m. -4 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on August 27, 1935, the daughter of Michael and Ethel (Smith) Hesch.
She enjoyed playing Euchre, making jewelry and listening to country music.
Surviving are daughter, Brenda and husband Doug Hynes of Burton;
great-grandchildren, Sydney, Jacob, Audrey and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Valerie Ann Miller and mother, Ethel Goldie George.
