SUTTON, Debbie Lorraine – of Clio, age 61, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at McLaren Flint. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date on the family farm. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Debbie was born August 14, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to the late Duane and Shelia (Rhodes) Horton Sr. She grew up in Clio and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1977. She also attended Mott Community College for Computer Science. On August 21, 1976 she married Norman C. Sutton and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2015. Debbie liked gardening, crafts, board games and music. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, her basset hounds and traveling to Italy where she lived for two years while her husband was in the Military. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Norman Sutton, Amy (Darrell) Montgomery, Thomas (Angel) Sutton, Michael Sutton; Grandchildren, Norman Sutton, Joshua Montgomery, Lillian Montgomery, Camron Sutton, Shawn Gunnerson, Jillian Sutton, Henry Siewic, David Sutton, Callie Sutton; Siblings, Lori (Thomas) Kimm, Brenda (Dwayne) Wagner, Duane (Heidi) Horton Jr.; Nieces and Nephews, Steven Kimm, Neil Kimm, Shelia Wagner, Jessy Hendrickson, Albion Wagner, Seth Horton, Piper Horton; Brother in law, Ed Sutton; Sister in laws, Mary Sutton, Nancy (Scott) Khemthong; Cousins, Renea VanBrocklin, Lynn Wells; Special Friend, Darlene Beuche.
