MCCALLUM, Cheryl Lee – of Flint, age 64, passed away May 14, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; her son, Michael McCallum Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday; 12-3 and 5-8 PM Wednesday.
Cheryl was born in Flint, MI on February 26, 1948, daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Delling) Lipp. She married Michael McCallum on May 17, 1969. Cheryl was an avid bingo player. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Michael Sr.; children, Michael Jr. (fiancé Valerie) McCallum, Shelly (Tommy) Wallace, Amy Sunshine; grandchildren, Jordan, Savanna, Hayley, Jenna and Brayden; great-grandson, Carsen; 9 brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny and Billy. A special thank you to her dear friend, Sheryl Ladd; chemo nurses at Genesys/Hurley Cancer Institute; nurses at MICU and to her many bingo buddies whom she shared time and laughs with.
