ADCOX, Bennie L. – Of Flint, age 85, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his residence.
Private service will be held at Swartz Funeral Home, Reverend Dr. Sang Chun officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Atherton United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Bennie was born on March 3, 1935 in Chambers County, Alabama, the son of the late Claude and Lois (Sanders) Adcox.
He served in the U.S. Army.
On June 7, 1958 he married Fran Downey.
Surviving are wife, Fran;
2 daughters, Patricia Craven and Connie (Greg) Windom;
4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren;
4 brothers, Jimmy (Bernice), Troy (Judy), Franklin (Lou) and Elmer (Joanie);
4 sisters, Faye, Evelyn (Bobby), Carol and Judy;
many nieces and nephews;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Freda and Jim Turner.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Wilbur and Sanders Adcox and sister, Inez Adcox.
