GIMONT, Alma J. - Age 78, formerly of Linden, died October 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday, October 25, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 1 PM until the time of service Friday. Alma was born September 14, 1934 in Saginaw, the daughter of Quirin and Alma (Pacquett) Goodman. She attended Baker Business College and retired from General Motors. Mrs. Gimont was an avid bowler and golfer. She loved gardening and collecting frogs. Mrs. Gimont was very active in the Gamma ETA Sorority for many years. Surviving are: special sister, Shirley (Tom) Oldeck; daughter, Michelle Mont and family; nieces, Barbara (Steve) Stier of Beverly Hills, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; brother, George. The family extends many thanks to all of Alma's caregivers over the past two years.
