WRACAN, Edward Marvin -- Age 82, of Lennon, died August 25, 2019. Services at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Edward was born March 20, 1937 in Detroit the son of John and Helen (Blahut) Wracan. He attended Detroit Cooley High School. Edward was a Veteran in the U.S. Marines. He married Jane Arbaugh in Detroit on August 19, 1961. He retired from LaFayette Life Insurance Company where he was a Life Insurance Underwriter. He was a member of the Michigan Bee Keepers Association. He was a member of the Swartz Creek Kiwanis Club, and a past member of the Flint Arrowhead Barbershop Chorus.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Wracan of Lennon; children, Lynn Wracan, of Davenport FL., Laura (John) Chambless of Port Huron, John (Colleen) Wracan of Vernon; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas (Kaily)Wracan, Michael Wracan , Margaret Wracan, Benjamin Edwards, Nathan Edwards; sister, Linda Oneill of Livonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to give a special thank you to Courtyard Manor and Residential hospice.
