HOFFMAN, Janice L. – Of Burton, age 78, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Rene R. Garcia officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the ASPCA.
Visitation 12 noon Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Janice was born in Flint, Michigan on June 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel (Medlin) Bailey.
She enjoyed crocheting, doing any type of puzzle books and especially loved her dog, Baby Mojo.
Mrs. Hoffman retired from GM in 2000 and was a proud member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are daughter, Tina and husband Keith A. Flynn and her father, Paul Hoffman;
Scott Flynn;
grandson, Keith D. and wife Charna Flynn;
brother, Ronnie and wife Karen Bailey;
two nephews, Ronnie Bailey, Troy and wife Tammy Bailey;
niece, Melesa and husband Donald Schempf;
many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Maude Medlin and Nettie Bailey and many friends.
