JACKSON, Elizabeth Anne "Bette" - Age 76, of Fenton, died Monday, February 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, March 4, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Tony Chick officiating. Burial immediately following in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a Fraternal Order of Eagles Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM; and Monday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the College Memorial Fund, for her grandchildren.
Bette was born October 1, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Harry Earl and Elizabeth Caroline (Gibson) Lumadue. She married Harold Alan "Mickey" Jackson April 17, 1967 in Grand Blanc and he preceded her in death July 7, 2013. She retired in 1997 from GM Metal Fabricating Plant as an accountant in the Financial Department after 37 years of service. She had resided in the Fenton area her entire life. She was a member of the Fenton Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2460, Fenton Moose Lodge #430, Flint Elks Club #222, and the Fenton V.F.W. Auxiliary Curtis Wolverton Post # 3243. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her daughter, Amy (Rex) Nance of Fenton; grandchildren, Emilee and Dewey III Calton both of Fenton; sister, Dianne (Joe) Cappo of Flushing; brother, Harry (Janice) Lumadue of Columbiaville; and several nieces and nephews.
