SANTA, Virginia Irene (Dalzell) – of Burton, age 88, passed away on September 22, 2011 at home. A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home; Chaplain Gene Smith officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Virginia was born in Flint, MI on September 28, 1922, daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Buys) Dalzell. She married Victor Santa on March 23, 1941.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Alan) Robertson; son-in-law, Temple Clapp; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Santa; and daughter, Sharon (Santa) Clapp.
