BLAINE, Michael J. Age 76, died August 13, 2020, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, Michigan 48451. Michael was born on June 24, 1944 in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philander Joseph and Ione Bernadette (Carto) Blaine. He worked at USPS for 32 years, retiring on February 13, 1997. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and collecting baseball cards. Over the past few years, he could be found playing Euchre and Bingo with his dear friends at Rosehaven Manor. He loved watching baseball and football but he especially enjoyed watching the Tigers, Lions, and Michigan Wolverines. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Norita Urban, and Elaine Nickoloff; three brothers: Walter, Patrick and Daniel Blaine.
