BANCROFT, Karen – of Flushing, age 70, passed away April 14, 2017 at Fostrian Manor. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Liturgy will be held 2 PM Monday, May 1, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev Fr. Robert C. Bacik officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fostrian Manor.
Karen was born in Flint, MI on September 2, 1946, the daughter of the late Harold Dingel and Yvonne Vuillemot. She enjoyed ceramics and playing games including Bingo. Karen was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Karen is survived by her husband, George; sister-in-law, Dorene Dingel; nieces, Liz Doyle, Sue Bloch, Sandy Dingel; nephew, Matt (Alisa) Dingel; several great nieces and nephews; special cousin, Betty (David) Rickard. She was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Dingel. The family would like to thank the staff at Fostrian Manor for the compassionate care given to Karen.
