Bobb, Betty Lou – of Clio, age 78, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at her residence. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Clio Senior Center from 2:30PM until 6:30PM.
Betty was born July 4, 1945, in Brighton, Michigan, to the late Emil and Margret (Killinger) Panek. A graduate of Clio High School, Betty dedicated 25 years of her life as a case worker at Community Mental Health before retiring in 2004. Passionate about poetry, Betty was an active member of the Clio Poetry Club, where she found solace in expressing her feelings through words. She had a green thumb and delighted in tending to her garden, planting flowers, and harvesting berries. Her love for antique collecting and her family knew no bounds, with Betty always finding ways to show her care and support for those around her.
Surviving are: Significant other, Jerry Morse; Daughters: Lynnett (Ron) Adams, Debra Bobb, and Summer Bobb; Grandchildren: Alyssa Delgado, Ashlyn Vliey, Jacob Bobb, Kaylee Bobb, Jamel (Ariel) Bobb, and Alexis Murray; Siblings: Marie (Carl) Thompson, Robert Panek; She was blessed with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Siblings: Anthony Panek, Mike Panek, Emil Panek, Barbara Panek, Chuck Panek, and Nina Wager.
