BARNHART, Harold Rollin - Of Flushing, age 89, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing.
Memorial service will be held 11am Friday, January 2, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Harold was born in Detroit on July 23, 1925, the son of Harold J. and Georgia A. (White) Barnhart. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Harold was an avid bowler and golfer. He retired from Southland Lanes Bowling Alley.
Surviving are son, Darryl and wife Cheryl Barnhart;
daughters, Stephanie (Ken) Konsza, Renee’ Markva, Jeanne’ (Tom) Cairns and Rhonda (David) Kowalski;
step-daughters, Belinda (Lynn) Novak, Rhonda (Bob) Bell and Faye (Rob) Brown;
11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren;
step-mother, Vivian;
and half-sister, Janine Brueggeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty; brother, Earl; wife Joann and great-granddaughter, Ava Kluck.
