William F. Binschus

Age 72 of Owosso passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2pm at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11-8pm and Tuesday 11am until the time of service.

William was born on September 20, 1941 to Edward (Bud) and Josephine (Levandowski) Binschus in Jackson, Michigan. On October 14, 1988, he married Yvonne Smith in Flint.

William worked for General Motors as a bus and truck welder for many years; he loved working with his hands, and he could fix anything. He also loved the outdoors, and often went hunting, fishing, and camping. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

William is survived by his wife, Yvonne Binschus; his brother, Edward Binschus; his children, Edward Binschus, Ray Joe (Karen) Binschus, Timothy (Melissa) Binschus, Todd Binschus, Robert Wagner, Krista Bruce, Jennifer (Rusty) LaMay, Constance (James) Carr, Clinton Binschus, Kerrigan Binschus, and Edward Binschus; his grandchildren, Charles, Sunshine, Crystal, Jessica, Kylee, Jennifer, Samantha, Timothy, Robert, Christopher, Trisha, William, Brianna, Warren, Kathryn, McKenzie, Riley, Mya, Allyson, James, and Alexandria; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Edward (Bud) Binschus, his mother, Josephine (Levandowski) Lis, and his sister, Patsy Durham.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
