SAUVE, Onalee – of Montrose, age 90, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at Medilodge of Montrose. Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 3:00 PM until time of service at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Onalee was born October 5, 1928 to the late Frank and Kathryn (Carpenter) Hengy. She grew up in Houghton Lake and attended Houghton Lake High School. Onalee married William Sauve and he preceded her in death in 1971. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she worked for AC Spark Plug for 17 years. She was a member of the Montrose Senior Center and the VFW Post 2777 in Burton, Michigan. Onalee enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
Surviving are: Son, Keith (Michelle) Sauve; Grandchildren, Jared Sauve, Trevor Sauve; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Sauve; Siblings, Violet Finlay, Wesley Hengy, Kathryn Hengy, Jack Hengy.
