PIRTLE, Paul James “Jim” – of Lapeer, age 77, passed away October 28, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday and
11 AM-12 PM Wednesday.
Jim was born in Davison, MI on July 2, 1939, son of the late Wyman and Florence (Putnam) Pirtle. He loved spending time with his family, going to the races and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Jim’s greatest love were his grandbabies and great-grandbabies.
Jim is survived by his children, Tammy (Keith) Dankert of Prudenville, Janell (Jim) Hajdo of Lapeer and Michael (Belinda) Pirtle of Burton; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Rohner of Flint; two nieces, other relatives and friends.
