HAMILTON, Sandra Kay (Milliman) – of Flint, MI, age 75, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6:30 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Newsboys of Flint, in Sandy’s memory.
Sandy was born in Flint, MI on November 26, 1943, daughter of the late Roy and Cecelia (Loiselle) Milliman. She was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School-Flint Class of 1961. Sandy was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She volunteered her time for various activities at Holy Rosary Catholic School. Sandy loved to drive, going out to lunch with her sisters and friends, shopping and she especially enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at their numerous extracurricular activities.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mickey Hamilton; 2 sons, Darren (Jennifer) Hamilton and Lance (Korie) Hamilton; 8 grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Olivia, Lauren, Griffin, Zachary, Megan and Daniel; 2 sisters, JoAnn Ellis and Susan (Peter) Glynn; very dear friends and lunch companions known as “The Fab Five”; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Milliman; sister, Barbara Lince and brother-in-law, Donald Ellis.
