MOORHATCH, George - Of Grand Blanc, age 78, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Dean Dumbrille officiating.
Burial in Assyrian Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Assyrian Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
George was born in Flint on June 21, 1937, the son of the late Sargis and Helen (Peter) Moorhatch. He attended Michigan State University and was an avid Michigan State football and basketball fan. George enjoyed his many trips with his wife, Helen, to Las Vegas. George loved his family.
Surviving are wife, Helen;
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
2 sisters, Mary Joseph and Maggi DelDuca;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Brooks.
