HITTLE (CHAFFIN), Golda Mae – Of Manitou Beach, Michigan, formerly of Flint, age 79, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Phyllis Stutzman officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Lenawee Hospice.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Golda was born in Ferguson, Missouri on July 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Albert and Flossie (Lack) Chaffin.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing video games.
Golda retired from General Motors, Fisher Body and Buick City, after 25 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #599.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Ray Palmateer of Clio and
Richard E. Palmateer of Manitou Beach, Michigan;
two grandchildren, Ricky Palmateer and Phillip (Lisa) Palmateer, all of Grand Blanc and
four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Palmateer.
