BARNABY (Warner), Sandra Lee - age 78, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at The Oaks at Woodfield. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home -1480 E. Hill Road., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sandra was born October 11, 1937 in Flint, MI to parents Francis and Helen (Shields) Warner.
Sandy worked as a cake decorator for 30 years, helping others celebrate life events. She also had a passion for doing hair, playing BINGO, doing endless crafts for her loved ones, and more than anything seeing joy on others faces. She relished in bringing together family and friends and took pleasure in planning her class reunions for 50 years, hosting events at her home, coordinating family reunions, and spending time with friends and family at Canada Creek Ranch.
Sandy was survived by her children Lynda (Jim) Carpenter, James (Zach) Barnaby, and Verne (Annette) Barnaby, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and brother Bill Warner.
