Neil Francis Huiskens 'Deacon Neil" of Zephyrhills Florida, formerly of Davison and Bay City died Tuesday November 12, 2013 in Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday November 30, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr Andrew A. Czajkowski, and Fr. Douglas Osborn, Celebrants with Rite of Committal to follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Saturday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Deacon Neil's memory to St. John Building Fund. Neil was born in Bay City Michigan on April 25, 1939 the son of the late: Francis & Vivian (Benthiaume) Huiskins, and had resided in the area for many years before retiring to Zephyrhills Florida. He was joined in marriage to Kathleen M. McFarland on November 28, 1964 and she preceded him in death on April 25, 2005. Neil was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and had served as a Deacon for the parish for many years. surviving are son James P. (Heather Whitman) Huiskens, daughter Jennifer M. (Michael) Jorgensen, grandchildren; Alexandria Huiskens, Abigail Huiskens, Camren Jorgensen, Casen Jorgensen and a host of other relatives. Share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net |
