MORELAND, LILLIAN L.
Of Flint, age 78, died Saturday, June 29, 2024 at her residence.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 2pm Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 12pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amazing Grace Animal Rescue, 3365 Freeland Road, Saginaw, MI 48604.
Lillian was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mildred (Sapone) Kampf.
She owned and operated Lillian's Daycare for many years and she loved her daycare grandchildren.
Lillian was an avid scrapbooker and artist, her specialty being cartoon drawing. She spent many years as a member of St. John Vianney Church.
Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are children, Sandi (Robert) Hozeska, Lisa (Eve) Palermo; step-son, John Moreland; grandchildren, David and Kathy; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Victoria (Richard) Foltz; brother, Richard Kampf; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Alex and Willy Kampf.
