Williams, Robbie A., Sr. – of Clio, age 90, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM, Sunday, August 21, 2016, at West Vienna United Methodist Church. Burial to follow at West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Saturday from 3-8 PM and at the church on Sunday from 2pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West Vienna United Methodist Church.

Robbie was born December 22, 1925, in Madison, Kansas to the late Orville and Olive (Johnson) Williams. He graduated from Bad Axe High School and Lawrence Technical University. Robbie married Irene Tack on August 21, 1947 in Bad Axe. He was a World War II, U.S. Army veteran. He had resided in Clio the past 65 years. Robbie was a member of the West Vienna United Methodist Church, the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post #1452, the Vienna Lodge #205 F&AM, the Hudson Club, H.E.T. Club and the AACA Car Club. He was a charter member and original project engineer of the Clio Country Club. Robbie enjoyed hunting, antique cars, gardening and playing cards with his family.

Surviving are: Wife, Irene; Children: Jacquelyn Miller of Clio, Kenneth (Maurena) Williams of Belleville, Virginia (John) Godden of Ann Arbor, and Laurie (Keith) Rossman of Clio; Daughter in law, Dawn Williams of Alpena; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and countless friends. Robbie was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Orville and Grace Williams, his son, Robbie Williams, Jr., and son in law, Jerry Miller; and 3 sisters, Doris Rogers, Nella Neview and Donna Lawrence.
