DeWITT, Lee F. – Of Flint, age 70, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
In lieu of flowers, in honor of Lee DeWitt, Sr., contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2005 Copas Road, Owosso, MI 48867.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon and Memorial service will start at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Lee was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 3, 1946, the son of Ledren and Nora DeWitt.
He married Patsy Morris on March 15, 1965 in Byron, Michigan.
He loved fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 52 years, Patsy;
daughter, Lisa French;
son, Lee, Jr. (Kandy) DeWitt;
grandchildren, Kerri (Justin) Clark,
Jessica (Paul) Williams,
Juliann,
Emalee,
Lindsey and Karlee;
great-grandchildren, Keira, Piper, Annabel and Cora.
He was preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Thomas French; sister, Donna Sanderson; brother-in-law, Bill Sanderson and nephew, Terry Sanderson.
