Mary V. Presson, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Mary was a talented seamstress and worked all of her life for many interior decorators in the Flint area. She was a member of the Salvation Army Flint Citadel for many years. Mary enjoyed gardening, taking care of her African violets, and watching the birds. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children: Skip (Linda) Presson, Vicki (David) VanSipe; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Presson, and son, Mark Presson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home (1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc). The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Mary’s family would like to give a special thanks to their entire Woodhaven family for their continuous comfort and care. Those desiring may make a donation in Mary’s name to Salvation Army Flint Citadel. |
