LeClair, Craig A. – of Clio, age 70, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 2, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Chaplain Gene Smith officiating. Burial to follow in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8PM and on Friday from 9AM until time of services at 11AM. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Craig was born October 19, 1945 in Flint to the late Harvey and Joan (Koplen) LeClair. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a resident of Clio since 1972. He married Jeanne Shumate on August 23, 2001. Mr. LeClair retired from Flint Tool and Die on January 1, 2004 with 40 years seniority and was a member of the UAW. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid U of M football fan.
He will be dearly missed by: Wife, Jeanne; Children: Jennifer (Barry) Simmonds of Millington, Cortney (Ryan) Zolman of Jenison, Matthew (Lisa) LeClair of Flushing, Kelly (Robert) Cannell of TX, Julie (Bill) Shumate of Ca; Grandchildren: Brody, Madeline, Kolt, Carter, Braden, Liam, Hunter, Austin, Sydney, Lindy, Griffin and Ella; Sister, Janet (Harvey) Groves of Howell; Brother, Jim (Barb) LeClair of IN; several nieces and nephews.
