THOMPSON, Sherry Lee – of Otter Lake, MI, age 84, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison MI, 48423. The family will receive visitors from 11:30 AM to the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, and her love of “Goldens” Daisy and Katie, please consider a donation to the Genesee County Animal Shelter, 4351 Pasadena Ave., Flint, MI 48504.
Sherry was born in Flushing, MI November 1, 1935 daughter of the late George W. and Marguerite L. (Welter) Adams.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jim; 3 children, Laurie M. (Bill) Vamos, Dan J. (Nancy) Thompson and Lisa M. Thornburg; four grandchildren, Danielle (Brandon) Wescott, Eric (Consuelo) Vamos, Brian Vamos and Simon Thornburg; 4 great grandchildren, Grant and Sabrina Wescott, Bowie and Roland Thornburg, special niece Candee Seconder; other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jack, George and Jerry; son-in-law, Richard Thornburg.
