MARX, Theodore “Ted” A., Jr. – of Clio, age 89, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Brookhaven AFC. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, July 2, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor John Flanders officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 PM Sunday and 10–11 AM Monday.
Ted was born in Flint, MI on November 10, 1928, son of the late Theodore A. and Mable (Abbott) Marx. He married Donna Rodabaugh and she preceded him in death on July 24, 1998. Ted worked for GM at Chevy in the Hole for almost 50 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed camping, hunting and dancing at the Clio Senior Center.
Ted is survived by his children, Danny (Rene) Marx, David (Ramona) Marx, Dawn Marx Walker, Dallas (Susannah) Marx; several beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Woodward; siblings, Robert Marx, James Marx and Nora Milligan.
